I am quite active in Storytellers of San Diego, a non-profit. We produce festivals, a Storytelling Institute (Encinitas Library) and tell at Eclipse Chocolate Bar & Bistro every first Wednesday of the month. There is a monthly Vista storytelling venue at Twisted Horn Cider & Honey Mead with a Norse flavor.
So, you would like to hire a storyteller for your event? I usually go out as a solo these days with a lively aggregation of stories from around the world. If you would like a bilingual program (Spanish/English) then we go out as a musical storytelling duo as Spinning Wheel Players, since 1986.
Annual Storytelling Festival 2018 "Daughter of King Ron" Told by Mindy Donner & accompanied by Catherine E. Hampton
Here's a video taken at the annual 2018 Storytelling Festival held at Encinitas Library, California. In this tale, Catherine Espinoza Hampton and I are reunited on stage for the first time in sixteen years! She is playing an Irish Harp on the Celtic tale, "Daughters of King Ron," as I tell the story orally. Catherine is an accomplished storyteller as well.
